LOL!!!

Dv8 also I'm sure you may know, but you didn't state which Type II tranny and differential, so I just wanted to note that the Type II Coupes had shorter gearing than the Type II sedans, from the differential, so you you probably ideally want a tranny, differential, and ecu from a Type II coupe.

EDIT: Dv8, is there any update on header development, what's going on with that now? Thanks.

DV8, first off, mad props on your ride .I have a question for you. On your T.C. what stall speed did you go with and why? I am replacing my 150k engine and tranny with JDM ones and since everything is going to be out, I might as well do the converter as well. Thanks.

Sorry if I missed this in the rather detailed initial posts, but did you have to reprogram the ECU at all? Or does it work fine with the stock ECU?

Would this be the infamous Ben Lin making a post? If it is, welcome back to one of the Legend O.G.'s!

Yup, it's me! I'm not that active in the Legend community anymore, but I still have my Legend (10 years and counting!)

Thanks for the welcome back!

Wow, I guess I was more well known than I thought.

Ok, I'm not trying to be mean here, but I've gotta say something and stick up for my man with the plan, DV8.

Quit thread craping DV8's awesome thread with these dumb remarks about him & his tranny/diff/engine-tranny mount choices and all. He knows what tranny & diff he wants in his car, he prob knew this long before he actually performed the 3.5L surgery on the Legend. But since nobody but DV8 & GOD know what he's thinking just give the man some friggin respect already. He brought us a killer CAI, the only aftermarket Headers out there, soon to be Long-Tube Headers, and tons of other goodies here and there, helping other projects as well, giving us a nice stream of fun-age for our Legends. DV8 earned my trust and respect a long time ago, give the man the respect he has more than earned & stop crapping his threads.

Again, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but please, if you wanna talk about his tranny/diff choices and how you think he's missed something about gearing, final drive ratio, # of gears, using this tranny or that tranny or mounting it upside down or welding the block & tranny together, etc.... do it in private by a PM or email. Don't go posting stuff like that here, it's downright disrespectful to a man who has gone through so much & wanted to share a HUGE Breakthrough for our Legends. Thanks ppl, I knew I could count on you We have a great forum here & even tho some ppl are blind and cannot see how amazing it is to take a 5000+ lb luxury car that is 9-14 yrs old down the 1/4 mile in the 12's & low 13's, I have a lot of appreciation for all the hard work DV8 and others have done to bring us what we have as a tiny aftermarket for our Legends, but its mostly all brought to us by dedicated & hard working Legend owners & enthusiasts.

Keep up the great work DV8, sorry to messy up your stellar thread like this man, but some ppl here need to treat you with more respect IMO. It's not hard to take a Civic or Integra, slap on a turbo kit & exhaust & have a fun little rice rocket, but if that was my goal I'd just ride my Suzuki GSXR 1000 and cream the Civic/Teg every single time. But we have a killer V6 that sounds far better than any Civic or Integra I've heard on the streets. Our V6's sound like a true race car with the right bolt-on exhaust

ok, sleepy time
