there have been many discussions all over the place about swapping a CL-S/TL-S engine/tranny into a Legend but it just isn't possible & not even something that's anywhere close to being worth it. The 3.5 conversion that DV8 did is really the most sound & worthwhile swap that can be done to the Legends IMO. The 3.5 conversion just makes the most sense, and when you do a little digging you'll find that there are more aggressive cam's out there available for added HP & all that jazz.

Anyway, there is no good reason to go to all that effort & trouble for a 3.2 TL-S swap, it's just crazy to put so much work to get a less reliable setup by far. I don't recall ever hearing about a stock Legend going down the highway & the tranny shifting into 1st w/o reason or desire, which threw the Legend into a uncontrolable sideways skid down the highway & either getting in a terrible accident or somehow narrowly escaping an accident.

Anyhow, if you do a little searching I think you'll find that it's been talked about & mulled over more than once & the end conclusion has always been the same.

The 3.5 conversion makes the most sense if you think about it, things line up & bolt on so well, and the RL is really a Legend since there is no Acura in Japan & with no Acura there is no RL, just what it's always been, a Legend.
