Let me guess you have a high mileage engine thats still the original....?

Yeah, the engine has 218k miles and has never been apart, so I'm sure the carbon buildup is bumping the compression up a bit. I plan to get an afc pretty soon and tune when I get my manifold back (extrude hone=slow, 6 weeks so far). I'm wondering if the Type II manifold will lose TQ in the low end.

Am I missing something here? Thats 0.1 more peak HP and 2.6 more peakTQ.

He will be back. When I redo my piping this summer, and then put down some real #ers-his competitive side will come out. Who knows- we may have a race some day. I still have to dyno with my .5bar spring now that it is installed. Dv8, hope you stay around.
peace, K

I definitely pulls a lot better up high. It pretty much quit pulling after 6k before, now I can take it to 7k pretty easily.

well......thats not bad because thats higher than most people, but a 75 shot Nitrous kit yeilds more. However i'll give you the benefit of the doubt, since your in much higher elevation. Do you have the graph so we can see how usable that power is?

-I do, but the scanner is broken here.
-hp peak is @ 5650, tq peak is at 5250 where hp and tq cross.
-hp is above 200 from 4900-redline
-tq is above 200 from 4600-5700
-from 4k to Redline is a smooth curve for both
-hp dosnt start falling til roughly 6k
-not much useful besides that because I couldnt floor it or it would kick down.

All in All it looks a ton better than last time! Not to shabby for 1.7 psi increase, and we determined that the turbo is def. too big- I barely get full spool in 3rd gear, and hardly anything in 2nd. I will be trying the T3/T4 soon, as well as new piping(piping prob. first).

nice turbo numbers considering you have many things to work out with that set-up, can't wait to see the true potential of your turbo set-up man

should be able to run it to ~58 on the dyno before you floor it(in D3) and top it out in 3rd(around 105) so it should give a full range.

With the ASP. I have no idea if it would be higher with stock or not. You wouldn't happen to have any dyno sheets for comparison??

I am not paying $50 for another run..
