I am not paying $50 for another run..
You should, i bet youd have more usable WHP without the ASP.

Wait for the lightened crank pulley Kyle, Tom and I have been working on.
It's 2.5lbs. and NOT underdriven, like the ASP.
We plan to post a Dyno soon.

Sounds good man. 1 hr. to remove the manifold is not bad at all. Did you fabricate a blockoff plate for the PAIR pipe?
yup. I went to home depot to buy a sheet of metal and cut to fit the pipe. For the little vaccum pipe, I used electrical tape and tape the shidizzle out of it just for now.
I think the reason it took me so long was because of that pipe and the other pipe. Once I knew what was going on, it was simple.

GSteg your suprizing me, you seem have learned a lot since you started here.
good job

That dyno was probably as good as your going to get in with your current setup. The rich portion of the A/F wasnt extreme to the point if you lean it out you wouldnt gain massive ponnies, maybe 1-2.
Good job though

yeah i figured so. I am going to get a highflow cat, piping, y-pipe, and an SAFC in the near future. Maybe if i am lucky I MAY get 195whp...if i am lucky

Hola. Well had my dyno done today, now I am depressed.
HP=188.3
torque=164.2.
I had mine done on the dynapack (same as Godfather).I have no mod yet (my current filter is a drop in K&N), but will have very soon. I will post pictures later. At least we now have a base comparision to work with.
It is a type 2 so...i dunno. Plus i dont know specifics on that dyno. Post up the sheet.
Also, what gear did you use. I used 3rd.

I am no expert....but something looks way wrong in you torque line.
With a manual tranny it should start at a steady 160 or something and stay about even climbing a little and dipping. Look at mine.
Anyways i would say do the dyno again in 3rd and at 2grand punch it until 6500rpms.
I hope to see some footage though!

speaking of manifold swap.. I did mine because I was anxious and didn't wait until the gasket comes in Took me 8 hours total to get it in and out, only to find a leak (u guessed it..the gasket). But it was fun though. I kind of expected things not to run well the first time. Now my manifold is out. Took me only 1 hour this time
Sounds about right for first time removal/install. There are just little tricks that you really can't explain on a forum, once you have those down the Air suction and EGR are a piece of cake to do.

Time for me to do research on what is AFR, tuning etc. I have video and pictures of car on dyno (56k, will take me a while to upload).
You have some sort of restriction. Unknown. replae the intake and do a catback exhaust. If you can buy a bayou. this should clear up the torque woes and bring you to 180+lbft

Dv8, thanks for the headsup/advice. The guy who did the dyno said something about intake as well, but I was not paying much attention (too shocked by low torque). Exhaust is on the way, intake to be ordered tomorrow, and been in touch with Willie about bayou, which I should have in September. will post new dyno then.
