This was done Akron Horsepower in Summit County, which is 1050 feet above sea level. 55 degrees last night when I had this done. I didn't decide to tune the AFC today since we only did 2 runs, and I'm parking the car until the rest of the mods are done. The car will be torn down, again to have a few things installed, including headers, Y pipe, Telion Chip, and camshaft regrinds. After that, I already paid for 4 more runs to tune the AFC.

Take a look at my air fuel ratio, and the relation it has on my torque curve, or should I say, torque spikes. If my A/F ratio ran flat across the powerband, I would have a lot more torque. I have a lot of work to do, but now I know where my problems are. Also notice, my car is misfiring after 110mph in the first graph (which is about 5400 RPM). The last graph shows what happened. The A/F ratio dropped below 12:1, causing the misfire.

Max power = 187.64
Max torque = 218.37

Max horsepower and torque

Air/Fuel Ratio

RPM

just wonderin what if u guys used a +02 RL exhaust system on ur 3.5 swaps it gave the car a 15 hp boost and had no effect on low end or top-end torque, its one of those rare win/win situations

For a daily driver its a nice butterfly system, but for us that do the 3.5, theres nothing better than a straight through exhaust with little to no restrictions. To us the diameter is the debate.

Specs:
'95 LS Coupe
OBX Header
OBX Straight pipe
Stromung 2.5" cat-back

You can see the OBX does offer significant gains starting early in the RPM range. The peak gain is 13 hp and 10 tq. Figure in 20% drivetrain loss and the Legend is now pushing 255 flywheel horsepower and 240 flywheel torque, for those of you who want to compare the flywheel numbers. (20% seems reasonable as it would drop stock 230/206 down to 184/165)

blue is before, red is after. The links are all the same pic at different resolutions.

...
I'll be adding a CAI, chip and Kyle's lightweight pullies soon. Later on I'll do the 5 spd clutch and flywheel, and I still have HIGH hopes for my final drive being made in 2007.
