I got a rusty one from the junkyard and I think it was $80, it still needs resurfacing which I forget the quote but think was more than $50, plus lightening was at least another $100 plus depending on how much the shave off. that ebay deal sounds good to me, I thought the 5 speed flywheels were not that common so to me the price seems good.

edit those look like G1 5spd flywheels btw.

Whenever I was buying parts for the 5 speed setup I tried that same exact place that you are asking about for a 5 speed flywheel. I ordered it and about a week later they told me that they didnt have any, but on the ebay page it said that they had 10 or so. So then I had to find a used one. Just find a used one and get it resurfaced.

i dont know of any places near you, just search for machine shops that are automotive related.. i was going to get mine lightened too but it would have cost 150 bucks just to take off a pound or less since there isn't much excess material on the 5 speed fly's to begin with. So i didnt think it was worth it.

No I didnt. I wll email the seller about the weight and get back to U. If I remember the weight is pretty much the same as the oem flywheel 19-25 lbs. U can also ask the seller questions yourself. I didnt not reduce the weight of the flywheel at all I wanted to but the machine shop I went to "Chixx In Marietta georgia" recomended not to lighten the flywheel so I didnt. the reason I purchased another flywheel was to save down time of removing the old flywheel, getting It resurfased, then finally the Installation. Its a good thing I did that to because my OEM flywheel was Cracked. That what was causing the chattering noise In my clutch.
