EGR block plates for sale/ Posted instructions

Disclaimer: Intended for off road use only.

I made An EGR Block plate for my own Legend and ran it around nice and hard, no CEL or negative effects. It is thought that by eliminating the EGR better quality air is burned in the combustion chamber thus creating more HP. In reality this HP gain is minimal and could between 1-5HP, mostly in the top end, but it all counts.
This mod is pretty easy and fairly cheap. The only negative side effects of this mod are; it will not allow you to pass emissions in controlled states, and you may suffer worse gas mileage. The plate is as easy removed as it is installed.

I made a template and can whip them out in a matter of minutes if any one wants one.
Paypal me 10 bucks for my efforts and I’ll mail one off to you.

Any sort of flaming will make you a prime candidate for being banned, if you don’t like this mod then do not participate in its sale or discussion.

Just tiring to give to the community, even if it's small.

Please PM me if interested.

I read elsewhere that blocking the EGR entailed hard work.
Could you possibly provide some instructions?
Additionally, what is your PayPal email address?

Thank you for the plates

Funny I mention this the other day and now you come up with selling them. Nice work. Got any pics of them not installed?

Ballistic:

The plate goes directly under the EGR valve, completely blocking both passages. Step 6 in you DIY, notice the two holes? The plate goes there.

Greek, i was planning on making myself one then had extra sheet metal so i made a template thought it would be easy enough to sell.

I have the same mod on my EGR system. I doubt you'd have any issues with it other than possibly failing SMOG-which isn't really an issue since you can remove the plate in a couple minutes. Also, some cars don't use an EGR system at all and run fine (even pass smog, etc.) 3rd gen Integras come to mind, as well as the RSX.

Paypal address?

No "pinging" or "knocking" due to higher temps in the combustion chamber?

Dyno for a 10 dollar piece? you have got to be kidding me.

Christain, I was just wondering how thick the plates are and what type of aluminum they are made from. Just in case for anyone with boosted applications and high exhaust temps and pressure I hope its thick and strong which i am sure it is.

And what is your PayPal addy again?

Did you put a plate on the back of the intake manifold too? I made mine out of 1/2 aluminum and milled them out and polished them.

Mod done a while ago, no problems or worse gas mileage. I made mine out of some steel from an old fuse panel. Worked great.

Go for it fellas, $10 bucks is worth it.
