PM Stevieray. I'd bet he can put you in touch with who you need to know.

Welcome to A-L.com btw... take some time to read the rules when you get a chance!

Those prices aren't even close for the level 10 PTS kit unless you know of some special group sale pricing. Try $379 for the kit + $498 torque conv + $600-$900 for rebuild and install charges. ( IIRC In 2004 ) I had over $2 g in level 10 rebuild outside the cost of a replacement tranny since my old one was shot. I used a 95 coupe trans into a 91 LS sedan and differential... the combined gearing feels MUCH lower so it jumps out of the hole and gear changes are SOLID under WOT. BTW I've had zero transmission problems since and it feels like no other Legend. Even with the cost I would recommend the mod if you are in need of a rebuild.

Or just copy and paste it into the wiki, paste a link, and put this thread someplace where it's modifiable by everyone like it should be

Better still... I took the initiative and linked it into the performance and modification DIY FAQs on the Wiki too:
http://www.acura-legend.com/wiki/ind...ification_List

I tried to clean it up a little though it could certainly use a lot of work... and really, some of that stuff I've never heard of: we should mark stuff that's difficult to obtain or out of production accordingly and link to stuff that is available these days.

No need to provide pricing if there's a link to a point of sale: that way the page doesn't fall out of sync with the retailers site.

I will TRY not to use the word in such context as it seems to have personally struck a nerve. Totally unintended. Sorry bout that. My sarcasm was referring to the ridiculous pricing I had to pay, not towards your post. Kudos to you for collecting and posting what info you had available. My objective was to present correct pricing which will be found in the body of this thread for reference and convenience to those who do end up searching here. No updates needed for the OP. Those prices were in effect in 2004 when I purchased them as they are today. Thanks
