Greddy exhaust

this is for anyone that has the greddy sp exhaust. Before I got mine I heard alot of complaints about it being too loud and stealing accelaration. Right after I put mine on and started it up I heard almost nothing. It's gotten a tad bit louder since but it's still nowhere near as loud as other exhaust I've heard. Some people think I just have a huge tip (the greddy tip is massive!). has anyone else had this happen?

I waited 'four(4)' months for the Greddy SP catback exhaust. It was a very long, depressing, and anxious wait. But as soon as I stepped into the performance shop I ordered it through, my eyes were directed at the elongated box with the phat 'Greddy' logo printed on the side. Had a convo with the dude, took the exhaust system out of the box and gently placed it in the trunk. Couldn't sleep that night(too anxious to hear the tone and feel the power I had been deprived of for too long of a time). Drove to the muffler shop, the man said lemme see what you got..drove the car onto the rack, and watched with patience. My legend is a GS sedan(KA-7)...Greddy only makes it for the coupe...not a problem...simple modification. Cranked the b!tch up, and backed her off after telling the dude I greatly appreciated it. I Couldn't f$cking believe what was happening! The wait had made me so anxious to feel, hear, and see the results, I was absolutely going insane. It was rediculous. I absolutely love it. I drive that b!tch around everywhere now. I'm not sure if anyone notices the difference, but I can tell the tone the greddy SP makes gradually becomes deeper the longer the engine is running. I would descibe the tone as deep as a stock Mustang GT with flows, but solid under 1/3 to 1/2 open throttle, and under full throttle the tone seems to dissipate and the engine can be heard. I noticed from a stand still, the legend is now able to kick my head back slightly as before it wouldn't. I haven't taken her to the track since i've had the exhaust installed, but i'm sure she'll make it to the 1/4 mile mark a few tenths of a second quicker than the previous runs i've made.

Compated to other cars the GReddy is for the Legend is not that loud I guess. But compared to the Remus is is louder than some owners want. But you can't compared it to those other Integra and Civic and other import cars because 99% of those guyes exhaust is just unbareably loud. At least for many of us. And I'm not that old either. My HKS exhaust for my old Integra was nowhere near as loud as the exhausts of todays fixed up imports.

94-KA7 is right on the mark about his description...i don't know if it really as loud as a mustang gt, but it's good. i'm 100% happy with the greddy and can't wait to install my intake.

thanks for the info guys I was just makin sure I didn't mess something up or if I was just plain retarded. I definitally notice a difference in power too. Also just like 94ka-7 I had to wait about 3-4 months too and I only got it after yelling at the greddy guy on the phone. They take WAY too long. I think that if I'm paying that much for something it should be there alot quicker than that. Did anyone else have this problem?

What is this dual Greddy Exhaust?!?!
Something about that doesn't seem right.... there is no way that they could be giving two Greddy SP mufflers with all that piping for only $500 . If somethings to good to be true, it usually is. Has anybody ever seen an application of this, or it even listed on Greddy/Trusts' website?

Yeah, something about that ad doesn't seem right to me either. But it's listed under 'dual'. I sure hope it's not a false ad. The price they have quoted for ~$500 dollars seems a little too hard to believe. But if it is true, then that's one hell of an exhaust system for that price, considering if that system is actually on the market and it's made by Greddy. It's not listed on the official Greddy website either, so that makes me think twice also. I would have ordered it from them, but I discovered it after having ordered the Greddy SP catback, part #10155690. Notice the part # for the dual exhaust ad is part #10055690....so it might be for real. - True Legend Enthusiast

NO FREAKIN WAY!! I just got my Greddy sp exhaust and NOW they make a dual? I'm so pissed. But that doesn't seem right to me. how is the dual exhaust as much if not cheaper than the single? Something doesn't sem right about that. If anyone orders it and everything works out please tell me.
