Jet-Hot coating FTW. Jet hot 2000-Flashy or stealth your choice. Dramatic temp difference.

Jet Hot! Thats the name of the stuff I was trying to think of this morning!
I have heard the same....coating > wrapping And re: moisture....imagine it sitting there trapped in the wrapping after running in the rain or something and it allowing to be there until the next warm up cycle...but I'll admit Im not too knowledgeable on the stuff...only going off of what ive read in the past and heard anecdotally... |

good exhaust wrap (wrap okay not a header blanket)uses a proprietary coating. this coating controls heat build-up and dissipation. hope that helps.

As i said before, it all has to do with your setup.. Heatwrapping your exhaust to perlong your engine life in an acura legend i think is pointless.. good maintainance is the key
but heatwrapping your supra exhaust with the turbo setup should cut you some spool time. ![]()

true! and not only that, besides the fact that it also withstands continuous heat up to 2000°F, it also maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density.
