Help choosing a suspension package
I need some help choosing a suspension package for my Coupe. I plan on buying it in a few weeks after I complete some business I have with another forum member. Right now my shocks and springs are sagging and when I have people in the car the back tires rub.
With the new package I’m looking to eliminate as much body roll as possible. I also want to eliminate that being on a boat feeling and I don’t want my rear to be bouncing all over the place. Keep in mind, I live in Brooklyn, NY, the pothole capital of the world. I’m thinking of getting one of the three packages. JIC Magic Konis Suspension Kit Konis and Eibach Combination. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Rob

JIC's, any day of the week.
Search around and you'll find that everybody who bought them was more than happy.

depends on how much you want to spend, the JIC can run up to $1300
The koni GC setup around $800 The Koni's are the most widely used on the forum, and people will vouch for them, only because not to many people have experience with the JIC's. I like Koni for the fact they are more widely distributed, and are very adjustable.

I said this a million times, but do not purchase the koni/eibach combo. The coupe will sit un-even on on side. The Koni/GC is probably the best setup IMO. Fully adjustable perch, stiffness, and ride height. Save yourself 5 C-notes. I you are in my hood you are more than welcome to drive my coupe with the KOni/GC setup. |
