Help me choose
Currently I have a 6speed in my GS. But after some reading on here and talking to a few members they seem to go to a 5speed for better revs? Does this sound right, to me I would think the 6speed would be better for a 3.5 legend. But some seem to think the 5speed would optimize the torque better.
Can anyone chime in and tell me. Both transmissions will have 5speed flywheel and spec 2 clutch. So weight won't make a difference.

stick with the 6 sp, then use the 5 speed flywheel and clutch combo...

Kenso, DV8, Kotetu, Fut and I had that discussion once....opinions varied, if I do recall. But I do know you can hit 100 in third gear w/the 6MT

I'm going with the 5 simply because that's what I pulled out of my parts coupe and it's costing me nothing but my own labor. If I had a 6, I would run that and I'd be spending money and time sourcing a 5 flywheel!
Either one is a very good choice, and the differences in ratios aren't enough that it would matter in a race, so why not go with a 6 spd if you have both?
