Hooking up Nitrous to Throttle

I heard of some people hooking up their nitrous so if you floor it, it kicks in. Anyone know how to do this and is it safe?

Venom has this system on the market where the N20 will hit when the throttle sensor reaches a certain voltage within the system. There are a few that sound sim. to what you are talking about-just check their web site.

Peace Kyle

It is almost done!

ITs not hard at all. Stupid but not hard. What happens when you floor it from a stop, your just going to spin tires. All NOS kits come with a throttle switch. hook it up directly to the solenoid and +/- and its activated. I really do recommend a switch between the throttle switch and solenoid, but hey thats just me.

You are thinking of the Zex kit, which is what I have. It hooks into the TPS (throttle position sensor) and fires the N20 when it detects full throttle. My kit has a switch to turn it on\off, then relies on the TPS to fire.

i would say you could run a 65, dont wanna run much more than 75. it makes a crazy difference, even with only a 50 shot.

the nitrous express one is run off a small switch, i installed the switch into the housing of the throttle cable, right next to the throttle body, in the little black box, and then just wired it up.

Without a tunned S-AFC and a Bayou Stage 2 chip dont attempt to go over 75hp. Dont forget to get colder plugs and to gap them down to 30.

I dont wanto to tell you i told you so.
