Exactly...more than likely the same type of damper I'm sourcing and custom brackets. I see one of their brackets is pretty beefy...welded bracing, but that still should only push up the price so much.

the "special washers" under and above the heim joints are lookin' good, I think those washers prevents the the heim joint eyelets to touch the brackets.

Agreed but the problem is sourcing those. I've just been using Dynamat on the bracket surface along with o-rings to insulate the Heim joint from the bracket.

Tru, tru but the big difference I see is that the NSX brackets have the mounting bolt and some type of insulator built in. That has got to help has far as stability & vibration.

We have access to some similar washers that let the heim joint articulate around it...it's shaped like a cone on one side, but they're about 8 bux a piece and they don't do anything to reduce the vibrations. We tested all the configurations of what they had and the way the kits were sent out were just about the best of performance vs. additional noise and vibrations.

The only thing I think we'll change this time out is the orientation of the damper...meaning we'll have the adjustable end on the firewall side as opposed to the engine side like the first set we sent out.

I'm also going to build a jig so when we set them up the length is exactly where it needs to be to stop the rattling that some people were experencing since there wasn't enough tension on the heim joints.

i think you should start the group buy within a month of posting (i.e. in the next couple days) so that interest doesnt fizzle, as well as this not dragging out longer than it has to..
Lets get it going
