Dude... you're my hero if you get this working right. Otherwise you're gonna toast the new Stromungs you just got.

Don't you have to pump more fuel through the injectors?

Not if he runs the 55 shot, if he goes 75-100 i would get injectors, SAFC, FPR, and fuel pump, and tune the SAFC.
I'm running a 65 Shot and my car runs just fine Still need to track and dyno it but i wanna get my headers and full exhaust before i do that.

if you have a wet kit, and the proper control box (like the zex kits offer) then you you should have enough fuel.

If your running a dry kit, thats when you need to start calculating how much extra fuel you'll need to support the shot that your running.

My rule of thumb is that if something requires bigger injectors then its probably going to require a bigger fuel pump, just to be on the safe side....good luck

not knockin you buddy that's cool if you're having fun, but i would've used that money towards building my engine up a bit first. you would've got less power but power that would have helped your engine last a nice long time & then be able to handle the nos later on & you would've at that time (of later installing nos) then even had more power. good luck as to how long the engine lasts - especially if you're hittin that 75. but you say you've had it on other cars so maybe you know what you're doing.

Don't spray below 2500 rpm!
These motors are near bulletproof. As long as you dont have a remapped ecu with advanced timing you should be all set.
Even with a dry kit, you will not need any fuel mod's. The Ecu will add the correct amount of fuel, not to mention, these cars run on the rich side as it is.
And for those of you calling it NOS, IT'S NITROUS. Get it right, NOS is a brand!
There is much to say, but I'm too lazy and tired. Good luck.

as far as building the engine , i am not sure what they offer for forged internals and studs and whatnot so i am not sure what all you can do. maybe if someone made a block gaurd and headstuds i could "build the motor". a dry kit like i have should be ok and longevity shouldn't be a problem cause its not like i am going to be fogging it all the time.
thanks for the tip on not fogging it before 2500. i was courious about that. i really wasn't planning on flipping the switch until 4k when the butterflies open anyway though.
i plan on getting the ecu chipped by telion this month and also getting a safc and a dyno tune once i get everything the way i want it. i am not some newb who hasn't messed with this kind of stuff before. i was just asking experience with it like gains and how noticable it was. like on single cams 4 cylanders i know you really can't even tell the difference. thanks for the advice guys.

If you are getting your ecu chipped by telion, I highly suggest a moats two timer.
This will allow you to run two maps on the ecu. One for N/A, and one for Nitrous. THere is a wire that comes from the two timer. You wire this up to your nitrous switch. When the nitrous switch is flipped to activate the nitrous, it will switch over to the F/I map.

THe N/a map has advanced timing with fuel taken out.
THe F/I map will have retarded timing and added fuel depending on the size shot you're going to use, 75 in your case. With a 75 shot, 2 degrees retarded should be what you want it programmed at.

It shouldn't have any problem after properly tuning and adjusting the A/F. My set up is almost identical to yours, plus a few other mods. From my experience with these motors and using nitrous, I'm not the least bit concerned.

I ran a .36 jet with the bayou chip(advanced timing) a few years back, no safc to correct the a/f ratio, using stock injectors/FP, and close to 200,000 miles on the stock motor. I'd think a fully modded, properly tuned motor should be in clear to step it up another 25hp.

I'm pretty sure Dv8 has run a larger jet on the dyno along with a few other members in the past with minimal mods.

I'll be using a close to fresh stock block with just over 45,000 miles.
