My custom fab guy, mechanic, and I had plans for an awd set up with everything worked out but I am done messing around with legends for now. Last year we started the awd project with my wrecked sedan and ended up parting it out due to loss of interest and lack of funds. It was close to the set up that B+O had "patented", but we were not using the RL parts. Everything was custom besides the splined shaft that goes into the output on the back of the trans.

Some cutting and fab work would be involved as Dv8 had already mentioned, but nothing too rediculous. A section of the tunnel on the pass side about 15" long had to be cut out and boxed into the passengers side foot space 6 x 4 x 15" in order to accommodate the drive shaft and exhaust which would have been oval shaped.

Nuff said. If I do buy another legend in the future, this is will be my first objective.

Seriously guys there are plenty of good rwd cars available, why cut up a Legend ?
A series five rx7 with C32A engine would be a great conversion.
