Did you have to put new studs in your heads at all?
looks like a pretty clean install otherwise... What did the insides of the headers look like. I mean where the primaries attach to the head flange and such... |

Dude!! That looks pretty clean. Props on the installation job and pictures.
In my many discussions with Stromung regarding the piping, by the look of the pictures, the Y pipe merge is pretty good. Ideally the merge should be gradual to maximize flow and avoid pressure collision. Anyhow, not bad. Thanks for sharing! As far as Stromung muffler, they're all OUT! It could be awhile before they think about doing some... if eva. May have to catch them after busy season. Still interested? |

great job! nice and clean install.
![]() How long did it take you? Any issues you run into while installing? Reason i'm asking is I have the obx headers as well and need to install them so i'm just curious as to what problems i may run into.

yea i tried puttin those on myself and wasn't succesful no joke man its tighter down there then a virgin... so i put the y pipe back on and the bolts i took off the headers and said f it i got a friend chargin me 350 to put it on took my about 3hrs to try so doing it your self without pullin the engine out alittle is really tough but in my case i didn't have enough materials to actually help me put em on.

that made that thing loud.... hi-flow cat FTW... quiets it down, reduces emmissions and smells a lot better at idle too. i dont think y pipe has issues with sedans.. mines fits in just fine without having to bend anything. ran into any probs with the relocated o2 sensor placement??
