I plan on hitting the track asap with my type 1 6 speed. I should crush the 14.5 put down with the type 2. Why do I believe this?
I've been racing with some serious competition and layin the smak down properly.
350z in the rear view... Musturd gt with exhaust close one but victorious.... 2005 porche carrera, old man just barely creeping away in his $80,000 coupe.
Surprisingly the carrera only hits 0-60 in 4.8 and is outfitted with a 3.6 liter putting out 321 horse and 273 ftlbs. For all of you non believers, these are the numbers... 1/4 mile time 13.2@108
Once my windshield is in, I'm heading straight to the track.

I"m getting a new windshield on thursday so I should be able to hit up the track next week if I can find some propper tires. 1st gear won't hookup whatsoever no matter where I start in the rpm range.
Here's the list man.
380 lbs weight reduction in track form. This made the biggest difference.
Type II motor/trans swap, D/S brembo rotors with ceramic pads
CAI, Ported exhaust manifolds, Custom 2.25" Y-pipe to 2.5 all the way back to a greddy sp muffler.
Voltage stabilizer, grounding kit, bayou stage 2, NGK platinum plugs 2 degrees colder
NOt so much, just bolt ons, a bit of weight reduction and a couple perfect neutral drops. Taking off from 1800 rpm brake torquing made for consistent 14.6 runs.

Most of the country's drag tracks are either closed or running 1/8th mile only.
But when they open, get out there! Sac opens on the 4th of Feb. I'll be out there on a wed. in Feb testing the G35. Looking to break 12's.
