lol, all of a sudden, I'm the sensitive guy, ahahahahaha~
I think OEM Springs + Koni Shocks@slightly stiffer than softest setting&stock height + the Strut Bar would equal to the ride quality of the stock sport suspension packages of those German cars. And, the big plus is that the sportiness should be about equal while we are under the protection of FWD.

Are these struts just for the front, or are they gonna be fabricating them for the back as well for $200+? I really would like one for the back as well.
That thing looks great on your car. I was wondering if the AC line was going to get in the way.
Would it be possible to make lower tie bars for our cars. They secure the right and left suspension joints at the bottom of the car. A common fix up item on 4 cylinder Hondas.

It's good to hear that the MLS pieces are working as advertised.
Not here to stir anything, but David C., get a life. If robbery has been committed, you best have your proof. You got your money back, not because you went to a site that you had no other interest in (and they told you to "get out"), but because you are a cad and I want nothing to do with you. This is all I will say. Don't even bother to send me an e-mail to say, "I've got copies of all correspondence, and if something were to happen to me, my lawyers will contact NCIS." as your response to this post.
Everybody, I apologize for ruining the climate here.
On the strut tower bar- it is heat-treated. So if you make a strut tower bar, and it bends with some effort by physical force, it will eventually wear out.
Mark Livingstone- did you get the KA7 headlamps and center console yet that I sent to you last week? Let me know.

Not as great as it looks on your car. :p
I'm sure that it is possible to have them made (err... somehow ). We'd have to talk to the guy to find out what's involved.

Well aint this the shiz.
For those who didn't see the IS300 forum post, ALL I did was caution people about doing business with SKR and only give them money if they actually had the part, citeing repeated delays and change in story.
Yes I did get my money back, but I know of at least one forum member who asked for his money back and was ignored. He posted about it (and ordering the wrong wheels) on the old forum. Tell us all Dale, did you ever return Darrens money?
I myself will not do business with any company who refuses to communicate fully, honestly and in a timely manner.
Dale, is it really true that Mark et al are sueing you? See the post earlier in this thread. If not, why don't you have some words for that person also? Please respond.
As moderator of this forum I thought long and hard about locking, deleteing, editing this thread. I will not. But I will not tolerate any more "name calling". Answer factually and it will remain so.

I like my little red roller skate.
Firstly, let's just let anything in the past that got ruined be. It's a new year, and as everyone knows, I am fulfilling orders or refunds. I'm doing what I can with what I have. I've e-mailed Darren and had received replies from him, and am working to refund his money. I think that anything that occurs between myself and anybody else is my business and theirs. Because of shortcomings, this is not an excuse to exploit/roll in on anybody, including me.
As for you and I, let's just be civil and learn to be friends, regardless of any differences percieved or not.
I am just glad that the feedback from the products received thus far is good.
As for SKR, I asked the question, and it is unfounded.
Dave and 92Legend- good luck with this forum. It is much easier to browse than the older one.
I think it is feasible to make these, like they do for the Civic and Integra.
My question is what is/may be in the way between the left and right lower struts once the full weight of the car is on when the car is sitting on the ground?
I suppose going to Jiffy-Lube or some place that has a drive-over/undercarriage access system can highlight/answer this question fairly quickly.
If it can be done, that car should be able to ride like it is on a rail!
Another fairly inexpensive trick to stiffen up the body is to shoot expanding foam into the door sills. The stuff is made by 3M, and works great. You won't gain any noticeable weight, which is important for a car like the Legend, and you'll reduce significantly the flex that is inherent in a unibody (major source of squeaking).
This is strictly for the type of person who wants to feel everything and who normally puts their car through the paces in turns and curves.
Dale, I'm wondering if you can find Fender Strut Bars for our cars in Japan.
Those fender strut bars are getting pretty popular in Asia now, and are considered as a MUST for FWD cars by most professional car modders in Japan. The bar is intalled inside the fender and will lock the inner fender to the body of the car as a way to minimize nose/body flex. Hope to hear some nice answers from you = )
Good morning! I know exactly what you mean. I am quite familiar with these pieces for the likes of Nissan Silvia/180SX, Toyota AE86, New Celica ZZT231/0, and more. These pieces are coming out for all types of cars all the time now. Not just for FF, but for FR as well.
The design and placement is not that difficult. The only problem I have is the lack of manufacturer(s) for this item for the Legend.
Anybody with some experience with welding/metallurgy should be able to study/design/fit/test this type of item for the Legend crowd in the USA.
I sold some for the New Celica last summer, and the response was good. There were questions with regards to in the event of an accident (head on/near head on), would these pieces in any way affect the collapsibility (is this a word?) of the front frame, as well as cause more damage than is necessary? Meaning- would the energy transfer corrolate with the cabin being pushed in, causing potential harm to the passengers and/or affecting the ability to exit out of the door(s) in the event of an emergency egress situation. Good questions, and I don't have the answer for it.
as of head on collision, the driver should not be endangered by the fender struts. The Engines are designed to be drop to the ground when there is such a tremendous impact. However, it does make it more difficult to get out of the car. But with impacts like that, there's no way that you can get the people out of the car without prying the doors anyways.
Legends are very very heavy in the front/nose, so fender struts are necessary. I would rather pay those Japanese Professionals who do those nite and day then to pay someone here in the states to make something that they have no idea about. Thank you for taking your time to reply and checking our forum!! = )
I love your late X'Mas Present!!
Brian

Good morning again! Sitting here at work on a Sunday...
I am glad that the Legend does have built in safety features that would not be affected by a fender bar system. You are right that when a accident occurs with the front being impacted, doors may or may not open. I suppose that is with most cars regardless of the make/model.
I can pass the query on to the folks at MLS, but the question in response would be how many people would want this system?
On the late Xmas present- I am sooooooooo glad that you got it and that you are happy with it.
I suppose the next offering would be different suspension systems that I've discovered some makers over here do for the Legend.
Arise Corporation makes the clear rear tail lamps for the KA7. I just discovered this company located in Tokyo over a week ago.
The MLS lenses are just way too expensive for even me to want to consider (approx $1200.00; the web site add is misleading). I passed the info over to Chloe and Heru, and I agree with them that it is way too much money, so I am refunding them via the proceeds of personal goods I have for sale in Hawaii. Darren K, as well. I have not forgotten you.
Anything I find out will be passed on to you folks. Anyone that may be interested in purchasing my discoveries can go through SKR Performance.
Everybody- thanks for even letting me post here, and for your responses.
