Sway Bars
Does anyone else want these as bad as I do? Does anyone have any proposals on how to get these made? Would KMS want to do a run of these for us?
If nobody thinks that they will, or that anyone else will, where should I start in looking for the right kind of machine shop. I don't think that there are really any places like that in my area. It would probably be best if someone in ATL, SoCal, NY, or Florida could take care of this. What do you guys think.... I just want these so bad. A premade set of polyurethane bushings would kick ass as well, along with lower tie bars and rear strut bars. I jus think that the rear end of our cars really needs to be stiffened up to cut down some of the understeer. |

The rear sway bar might have fit issues. Because I dont think there would be enough clearance under the rear speakers due to that depression in the sheet metal from the rear deck storage.
As for the lower tie bar once I get some more $$$ i'm going to go to KMS myself also along w/ other ATL members and see if they will custom a DC sports L.T.B to fit my coupe. (this should'nt be too hard) If we go through KMS they might be willing to custom some parts. because if you didnt know they do own (2) 95 LS 6-Speed Coupes. But I want to go to them with $$$$ in hand becaues $$$$ talks. ![]()

Thai, lemme know when you do plan to go up to KMS...I also want them to make some polyeurothane bushings for our cars...or at least change my car out with poly bushings.

Sway bbar would go underneath the car. Tie bar the same. Rear strut bar would go in rear deck

if you have ever looked back there, the package shelf acts as a strut bar. in fact, there is no room to put one back there. John from KMS and myself have already checked into that numerous times. We were going to do the lower tie bar, but it seemed as if Chris Kam or DSL were going to follow through with that so I left it alone. If this is something that you guys SERIOUSLY want, please start a list, and we will go from there. This means commitment, which means that you all have to follow through. I am going to have John make me a few things for my Sports Coupe....NOPI time!

Greame and Fut had my lower tie bar for reference, but it was not too cost effective to make an exact duplicate of it. They are developing their own tubular version instead. which will work just as well, just not look the same as my DC bar. Mine was also from a Coupe and they noticed slight mounting differences with the Sedan so are trying to make a 1 fits all brace. My DC bar was then sold to a friend in California.
