Turbo Kit

"Check out www.sfp.net to see the credibility. They can make Turbo kits for the Legend as long as we have downpayments from 10 customers that are willing to buy so that they wont be lsing money via research and development and wasting their time with a car that not many people will be interested in buying turbo's for. The deal is, they wont start until they have approx. $2,000 down from each customer.

A fully built motor capable of handling a BAR or more of boost along with a turbo kit, installed and tunned will be between $10,000-$12,000 out the door.

Now thats alot of money, but if you choose not to have your engine built for boost, you can simply have a turbo kit made for the car, and that would be between $4,000 and $6,000. Downpayment might be less, around $1,500.

But until people are interested I wont be able to go anywhere else to get the kit produced. Jamasco will make a turbo but each kit will be made individually with the car there. I am sure if many of you who are not from Florida would rather have one made and shipped to you.

There is no Dyno of course because they wont start until they have proof that 10 of us are interested. WHP gains will varry depending on your set up. You can choose your own Turbo and oush whatever boost you want.

This is just my last offer before I out my car into the final shop. If I can get 10 people, then we can go to SFP and everything will be mass produced and available to others. If not, then I will go with Jamasco and then the kit will not be offered to anyone who can't afford to leave their car in the shop for a while.

Its your call. If your serious about it, you can find your $$$. Just think, you only need $1,500 or $2,000 soon and then you have a while before you need to pay the rest. If you are a student, get a student load. Use those tax returns. Im telling you.... You dont want to miss out."

What a great idea, lets spend as much on one mod as our cars are worth in complete value. 10k is prettty steep.

With all of you guys bashing SFP, I'm surprised that TypeR hasn't come on here and gotten mad at you... you know, because they're helping him build THE FASTEST Legend evAr!

i have a friend with a turbo 7th gen civic. (www.speedingtexan.com) who dealt with them for a while when they were making a kit for his car. said out of the 5 companies he dealt with. sfp was easily the worst one. i would avoid this, and try to get somewhere local and get it done for ~4-5k
