We gotta find a way to have projector headlights avalible for the G2 sedan and coupe without doing the mod our self. As many of you know the aftermarket corp. has little to no love for legends.

Just curious, but has anything else besides the dampner been produced yet? I keep seeing this thread pop up, so I assume some progress has been made on something, right?

We're actually trying to prototype a couple things right now: Adjustable rear sway bar end links, and a big brake kit. The end links should be ready in the next couple of months, and no timeline on the bbk since the guy working it out for us got whacked in the face with a 4000 psi hydraulic hose a couple weeks ago...hopefully he's back to 100% and able to work with us in getting that done soon. Phil has his short shifters which we'll carry in stock once they're produced, and we've got about 4-5 other things on the table that we just haven't had the time/funds to start working on seriously. I'm trying to get a daily driver personally other than the Legend so we can start working on the 5 engines we have sitting in storage and start having some fun with those

If this was my "job" then you guys would see a lot more action from Blackend Motorsports, but as it is, this is a hobby for me so work on it is sporadic at best. Tyler and Phil are full partners with me, and between the three of us, it's hard to synch up and get things nailed down at times, but we want to keep moving forward bringing products to market so we (the Legend community) keep progressing and pushing the performance envelope.

Stay tuned for more updates!

LOL Chris - that's twice you've mentioned it. I guess, once we start tearing down these engines, we'll begin investigating our options!

I'm interested in a BBK too. However it soulds like it may be far down the research list.

Keep the great custom parts coming!!!

Thanks guys - what I'm trying to do is offer upgraded braking that will still fit behind the LS/GS rims (or my NSX track rims) but offer substantial braking force over the stock units. Jury is still out though since our subject matter expert is still nursing his injuries for the time being. We decided to head this route since not too many people jumped in on the Wilwood GB that mrkeith headed up, and a lot of people love the LS/GS rims. Hopefully, smaller components = smaller dollars too

I recall you mentioned (in a different post) that you guys are having difficulty fitting something under the NSX rims. As of now, what would you say (percentage wise) the chances are that you'll be able to make something work with those wheels?

No idea right now - as I said above, the subject matter expert is out of commission for the time being.

EDIT: I know we can fit a better option behind the rims, it just depends on how much better vs. how much cost. I want a proportional kit where you reuse the front type 2 calipers on the rear, and the front braking force is double stock. Just how we get to that point I'm unsure of until our guy is back in action.

Something I'd pay a rediculous amount for, and I'm sure MANY people on here will also buy:

Headlight. Covers.

eBay has a few up at anytime for a sedan, but I've never actually seen what the "Legend Specific" covers actually look like, look like installed, and if they are worth buying.

I, personally, have a coupe, and am constantly frustrated at not being able to find headlight covers for my car.

I'm not talking about a vinyl overlay, either. I want an actual piece of plastic I can fasten over my headlights, and I want it smoked. If you developed a mold for these covers, you really could make any color and shade under the sun.

The reason I'm so desperate for these? Well, after $350 for black-housing JDM lights, $250 for projectors, $35 for angel eyes, $150 in labor chargers, and $325 for two HID kits, I want my headlights protected and protected well. I'm sure many others on here would at least want a clear one to protect their own investments as well. Glass Euro's, anyone?

As I see it, it would be cheap to make, in comparison to your other conquests right now, could be in production quickly, and potentially turn up a huge profit.

You're the 2nd person in a week asking for this - and I'll copy in my response:
I'm actually trying to talk Phil into making the 1 piece CAI again. The problem with a CAB is that there is still heat soak and the gains are minimal over a SRI...in fact, the box has less "fresh" air going into it since it's not drawing from the grill opening, but pulling from below the bumper. What I really want to do is add a plastic intake funnel that would mount on the outside edge of the lower bumper opening for more of a ram effect and then run it to the CAI...

I tried to do the same thing with scrap plastic at my house but I couldn't find anything with the perfect shape. How much are you thinking for this part?
