I just got my first acura less then 24 hrs. ago. Im not real happy right now cause its already been on a tow truck. lol you will have that with any vehicle though. However it over heated last night and now it won't start. Normally i catch stuff like that but the temperature guage wasnt working either. Would really like to get it running again. HELP PLEASE
Welcome to the forum, sorry for your misfortune. Never buy any car with critical gauges not working and expect it to last. Temp gauge is just as crucial as gas and oil. The first thing to do is check the oil and coolant for traces of each other being mixed together. (Milky oil or coolant with oil.)
I checked my coolant and oil and there is no milky oil or oil in the coolant. I did find that i had a bad ignition control module. I replaced that and it's still not starting so whats next?
I did find that Im gettin spark from the coil now which i wasnt before but it was like an orage color. Shouldnt it be more like a white with a lite shade of blue at the end?
