Car 1: 1988 Acura Legend

Smile Hello

Newbie here. Hello to all, looks to be one of the best Legend forums on the net. I have a 1988 Legend base model with auto trans. Purchased it for my wife last year to this day. I purchased it from a friend of mine, it was his grandfathers. Car has 104k on it, runs like a champ and gets great gas mileage. I am thinking of buying one for myself, but newer and faster. I would like a manual trans in mine. What is the fastest year in a legend, without going new of course. I'm talking, 1991-1996 I guess. I don't want to spend more than $3500 bucks.

If you are looking for a quick Legend, the Type II motors in the 93-95 coupes as well as 94-95 GS sedans will be the most powerful in the Legend name.

Welcome to the forum, and you are correct in finding the best Legend forum on the net!

Buy a cheap Legend with a BHG (yeah that will be hard to find Im sure) and do a 3.5 swap.

< $1000 for the BHG car
$2500 for the 3.5 swap

$3500 - right at your target price...
