ATTN: Forum Owners...

Okay I appreciate you guys bankrolling this great forum to keep it up and running....

But I take issue with this:

If anyone here is gay and chubby, I do not mean to offend you.

While we all had a very good laugh over it...in all seriousness, if I was caught with that at work, I can guarantee you that I would not be sitting here typing this, but rather I'd be in either my boss's office or (even worse) HR getting my ass handed to me.

I have an inkling that there are many others in the same boat.

While I have a VIP membership and don't see ads, I would hate to have a fellow forum member get in trouble at their workplace simply because of an out of place ad.

Remember that this is an automotive forum and I ask that you please address the issue before the "worst case scenario" does land on somebody's desk.

What if you delete the thread, will that help? Or I guess for the people that doesn't have a VIP, they might as well join us so they don't get any ads. Thank God I don't see that on my computer or on my phone.

I agree, I like to visit the forum, you know just on my breaks, at work and I don't want to get flagged for those ads!

Not only that, i have had several side ads and ads on the bottom that were nws. One on the side was a woman in a bikini and a google ad on the bottom that had wwe divas nude, we dont need that crap on here.

Somebody has to actually send them an email on this issue, since i highly doubt that they visit the forum on a regular basis. That ad has nothing to do with the forum and would really get someone in trouble if they tried viewing the forum at work or school or somewhere.

Google will not allow advertisers with adult content period. Its against policy. You are seeing those ads because your computer is infected with spyware and or a virus.

WRONG, the ads on the page are "related" to the threads title. the clay aiken thread made the gay chubby one go up, it has NOTHING to do with "spyware on 'your' computer". maybe you should understand how the ads work before you say anything.

and it was not only 1 member who was seeing this same ad, it was almost everyone who read the thread who wasn't an A) VIP or B) person with FF ad-block.

Is everyone still seeing the ad? I was not able to see them. All I got were car related stuff from ebay, Yahoo, and Hondacuraworld (even in the aforementioned threads).

it seems to have been changed very recently, not more than 30 mins ago there was a bikini ad in the "what did you do last night" thread. all the threads seem to be car related, which is MUCH better.
