DIY lhd folding mirrior switch.

Ok 1st of all i have to give thanks to V.A. who showed me this and a few other diys.
ok you will need bothe mirrior control switch. trace out the folding switch then using a drimel out the hole.

next pic up a toggle switch the push button kind. it needs to be small so that the switch can fit on it. drill the hole in the usdm switch place the toggle switch in it and bolt it down and drill a smaller hole for the wires to run out of. it should look like this.

now some modding may have to be done to the folding mirrior button like in the pic notice the bottom of the switch was trimmed.

no when its done it should look like this.

Now run the wires to the relay.

first off, thanks for this write up, pretty much explains how to do it...my only question is to what wires on the relay do you splice these 2 wires from the button?

i have a question...im using a relay from the prelude...7 wire as well and i read you could use the lude relay if you dont have the legend relay...my question is can i connect the yellow & white wire from the relay to the yellow & white wire from the switch? can i do the same with the black wire from the relay and connect it to the black wire on the switch?...oh and does the rest of the wiring to the mirrors and switch look good? im hopefully planning on doing this on Sunday so we'll see how it all goes. thx
