What exactly is the D4 light?
EDIT: Now that I went out to the car and looked at the Dash I see what the D4 light is, but now the crappy part is that my D4 light doesn't work. gggrrr.....now I have to figure this one out. I'm pretty sure its my TPS thats not working right. Last edited by [tHe] Saint : 05-08-06 at 03:34 AM. |

OK, I'm VERY new at this. Where is the check engine light situated? My '91 Legend (Honda) has been sitting around for some time now and I would like to know if it's burnt out. I also just went to look for the wires to jumper but could not find them. Please pix of these would be greatly appreciated. Props to all forum members, you guys are the best!

Hi all, I don't see a D4 light on my dash board, or I See it but don't know is it, does anyone has a photo ? Or could you explain me where it's located ? Thanks
![]() I feel stupid, It's just the light when your tranny is on position 4... Another question, is this the same light which is used to diagnose ECU problems as well as tranny problems ? THanks ! Last edited by Nekkro-Kvlt : 04-02-08 at 04:31 PM. |

ok, I have the famous D4 blinking light. I jump the service connected (black/white) like told on here but I get a solid check engine light. what to do?
P.s. no jumpy or erractic speedo or rpms, just drove 400miles only stopping to put gas last night but nothing out of ordinary. |

i took off the carpet, but didnt see black and white wires, I saw a bunch of other colored wires, but not two black and white. Not a big deal anyway, I'm bringing my car in tomorrow, just curious what I did wrong.
