You dont even have to take off that piece, just lift up the carpet.

i dont know then, I'll have to take another look. I took it to my local mechanic, he said he looked there and couldnt find it, he thinks it was moved or something. He just told me to take it to acura, if my check engine light remains on.

Mine was tucked under the metal where the ECU is, just dig for it down in that hole.

Question

OK, the only thing left for me to do is rip up all the front carpeting. I still cannot find these black/white wires. And like Jrucch asked, where is the ECU at?! I dont have a check engine light yet but I want to be prepared.

I am having problems reading my code. Check Engine light blinks once every two seconds. Indication a code #1=Left Oxygen Sensor, but I also notice the ABS light throwing a serires of codes, is that normal or does it mean something. Now the code I am getting does not make sense why my car feels like it wants to shut off while driving.?.

Had already replaced Main Relay, Spark Plugs, Idle valve, fuel filter & air filter. Still shuts off while driving or parked.

Sorry to Necro this thread. But can the ECU throw a code without the check engine light coming on?

Im having weird problems with my G1.

The check engine light pops up sometimes and I have no idea why.
So I checked my ECU last night and it blinked like mad. No readable codes,
just blinking an orange light really fast with no stop to it. Any idea what the
problem might be?

I had a problem with "9 Number 1 Cylinder Piston Position " before but they changed
the sensor and it should be fixed now. That time the ECU blinked the code just as
it should. Now its just going mad...

EDIT:
Well it seems the Yellow light in the ECU means my idle is not set right.
So that solves the problem for that part.

It means the idle control system is outta whack, like your previous post said.

Start reading on this page:
Acura Legend Online Service Manual (Pages: 0001-2690, current: 1604)

It'll take you through proper testing/repair procedures.

Not necessarily. It just says "Electronic idle control." Could be anything that has to do with that.
