Heated Mirrors

I just picked up a 1991 Acura Legend and noticed that the light for the heated mirrors stays on. I pushed the button but the light is still on. Any ideas?

My heated mirrors light stopped working long time ago - bulb probably burned out since I used to find it on all the time. And I can't say that the mirrors ever "heated". Can the bulb be replaced or the heating be check-out/repaired without taking the door panel off?

Revived from the dead. But yes, the bulb can be replaced. You'll need to take the entire driver door panel off though. Its a $3.87 bulb from the dealership.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

Is that a bad thing? I searched the topic, got my question answered, and didn't create a new thread.

No. Its not a bad thing at all. You have to understand, if you had made a thread, we'd tell you to do a search and since you did a search and resurrected a thread, we needed to make certain you knew just how old the thread is. Its some kind of misguided forum love.
