Installing KMS Strut Bar - 4 steps

The arch is engineered into the bar so that you can mount it....this is that preloading we were telling you about.

ok

1 - mount the bar loosely, do not torque the screws down

2 - gently press down on the center of the bar until it is level

3 - torque the ends down.

4 - enjoy, but do not get a ticket

Removal of the factory bar is not required

Hey, Vrb747,

Did it fit OK? Did your hood press against it when you closed it? That seems to be the no.1 issue. Hope it went well. Oh, how does it fell when you drive?

It works great

I had no fitment problems. The hood closes fine.

And the car is definitely front-heavy on the handling.

And thats a good thing

Seriously tho, I can swing the car around a curb at faster speeds....

And thats not always a good thing

for some reason with time, my hood started touching the bar. so now i got two tiny marks on each end of the bar. tried pushing it down further but the hood still taps it enough to leave a mark on my bar
