If your glovebox is sitting in the passenger foot well, how are you having clearance issues? When all the the lower dash is disassembled theres really not much in the way.

I think OEM is the best look. I just don't happen to think any of the various arrangements of OEM got it exactly right all at once

yea but the bracket that the 3 screws attaches to that would make the glove box fall when opened, that is whats sticking out. it also allows the main bracket to bolt onto it, so in a sense its a peice that right in between the glove box and the main (usdm) bracket

If the key isn't coming out, that could be because of the transmission ground. It was originally placed on the bottom right of the radio cavity on one of the body painted pieces of metal that pops up. I suppose if you didn't have that hooked up at all that could cause the car not to start either... that never happened to me, I just chose bad grounds for it a couple times and had issues.

ok i think its the thick looking one...

i still havent resolved the fitting issue with that 1 bracket that lies between the outer framing (the plastic panel) and the glove box. i think its part of the framing for the glove box or the metal brackets that the glove box gets bolted onto

You're going to have to show me pictures of the brackets not fitting because I'm at a loss for new ideas.

I didn't have to bend it at all. Like I said, that was one of the easier parts of the install. I don't even have many close up shots of that section of the dash because I had so few problems. Hopefully something will be clearly wrong to my eyes in the picture you send. Otherwise you might have to get creative.

ok here i circled the part of the glove box framing that is blocking me. the right wing of the main framing is 2 inches past the glove box framing and the main frame is centered....i also came to notice that the 4 screws holes where u screw the top of the main frame to the bottom of the dashboard doesnt come close to lining up.

but heres 1 pic of the glove box frame

Well. I still have no idea about your fitting issues. The transmission ground is one of the only wires that heads from the center of the car back to the front. Its a relatively thin bunch of black wires that comes to a rather large copper fitting. When I get some free time I'll pick my passenger side apart and get some pictures for you to compare with. Getting some pictures of things not fitting yourself might help me figure out whats wrong too.
