Thats sweet man! Make sure you have the right tools with you.
I used to be able to do shit like that when I was lifeguarding. That was the best job, however after waxing my car in the sun it messed up my clear coat. I am such an ass!

Does anyone know of any other Hondas or Acuras that did this from the factory here in the US? Or, maybe even Lexus/Toyota or Infinity/Nissan models? If you know the SPECIFIC year and model, please let me know. I want to get the motor and relays out of one of these (provided it's the same style) and make the roof action automatic, as these should have the limit switches we need to do it.

As per our 91-93 shop manual in PDF, some of our Legends had this as well, and if we had the motor with the limit switches, we'd be golden.

Mike

True. Now I just need to find a 96+ RL in the junk yard. THAT's going to be the tough part. Hence, I wanted to find something a bit more common. Oh well. Thanks!

just use needlenose pliers, and unscrew it. i found that was the easiest part, the hardest part for me was putting the stopper back in the spot before.

Are there any side effects or disadvantages after doing this?
Isnt there something you guys can put where the stop was that can somehow tell you that it is in the sealed close position? Anything?
