Check to see if power is going to the window motors first. Two ways

1. Turn on inside lights, engine off, press the button. You should see a slight flicker, dimming if you will. Its real quick. Test it out on all buttons. If you see teh flicker then the main switch is probably not the problem. Then press the button on the switch of the window in question. Use the same theory, see what happens. If you do this and nothing happens then you should try pumping juice directly to the motor itself. There maybe diagrams on this site somwhere, or you can use a test light. This is more advanced however as you will need to know which wire is ground and which is power.

My 1995 Acura Legend driver side window will not go up or down. All the other windows are okay. What could be the problem? The power master switch or the motor itself? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

buy a new motor. I had the same problem and replaced it with one i bought on ebay. i dont even need the window to work, just that they wont tint my windows without it working. but replacing it should fix your problem

Not enough common sense to read the begining of the thread and you think he can find the fuses?

Can someone rehost the pics for this DIY or create some new ones? Money is tight right now, and I can't afford to shell out for a new master switch.

Thanks!

Not your master window switch if your passenger side front goes down. The child safety lock is on the master window switch at the bottom (the toggle button that only says 'On').

Anyone able to host the pics that were originally up or show me what the crafted aluminum foil piece should look like?

The folks earlier in this thread had a problem with the auto-down feature on the master window switch. In plain English, it wasn't going down with one-touch, but going down like any other window (i.e. you hold it until it goes down to the determined location of your choice). So, determined members found a quick, easy, and temporary way to fix the overly expensive and hard-to-find in good shape option of replacing the entire switch module.

What you describe sounds like a general issue with the switches, not specifically the auto-down feature. Thanks for the advice anyways, I'm sure it'll help others that are suffering the same problems.
has anyone found a way to fix the auto-down on the switch? my switch broke off and i tried gluing it back on but now it won't go to the second stop where it goes down automatically.

Isn't that the switch for the auto function that the topic is about ?
