88' Acura Legend 2.7 // Manual Transmission Wont Shift

The Problem is I cannot get this Vehicle to shift gears. It is a Manual Transmission and this Mainly happens when it is cold outside. I have replaced the Slave Cylinder, Clutch Master Cylinder and all the hose assemblys. I also serviced the Transmission.

Also If I turn the car off I can shift into gears just fine, then when i turn the car on and the Stick is Engaged into a Gear the whole car shakes Really bad. Very very bad like a earth quake.

Help Plz.

To be more specific, will it not shift into any gear, or just some of them? When you say "serviced the transmission", did that include gear oil? Assuming your new clutch cylinders are good, it may well be the synchros in your transmission. Odd that all 6 would go at once though, which sounds more like the clutch area. Anyone else run into this before?

Yah All 6 Gears, I cant shift into any of them. The other day i was test driving this vehicle after topping off the Transmission fluid. Drove fine, pulled over to check something, put the car into Neutral, then tried to get it back into gear and it wouldn't. Finally it did, then later the same problem. Now it wont engage any gears. The difference between the last time i drove this vehicle on a test drive and now is now there's snow on the ground and before its was in the 50's. I dont know if tempature has anything to do with it.

Are you sure you have the correct transmission oil? Most Honda products use
engine oil or other low viscosity oil. Check the owners manual or call a dealer.

Could it have anything to do with the linkage?

Weather in your neck of the woods has got nothing to do with your current mechanical issue OP... sounds like you've got what it's called grabbing clutch; one where the friction disc does not slip normally but grabs ALL at once.

Although there are several causes for these conditions, but I believe you have a worn (or bent) clutch fork; does not allow the release bearing to contact the pressure plate evenly, thus causing the clutch to not fully disengage and also cause hard shifting.

Welcome to the community btw

OK this makes sense. Also Earlier I forgot to mention sometimes it shifts, and when it does it drives great, real smooth. Then sometimes when you park it and get back into it to drive again it wont shift. Could this still be a bent Clutch fork?

Also, the system has been bled, and there has been adjustments made behind the clutch pedal.

These are early signs (symptoms) of a clutch system going bad; as mentioned per last reply

Welcome to the A-L family! Sorry it isn't under better circumstances.

I had the same issue with my '87 coupe a few months back. Turned out the clutch decided to kick the bucket.
