Acura Legend wing turbo?

hello all. i just got a 1990 acura legend coupe for the second time in my life and im not going to let her go. i have had one in the past and have done lots of engine work, but never got to Turbo Charge her and want to so bad. i looked into it and in 1989 honda japan replaced the intake manifold with a variable geometry was the first time honda factory put turbos in a honda but for only one year and is now very rear to find.. i need one of these bad! if anyone has any info pelase let me know. thanks

there was a motor for a turbo jdm g1 engine on ebay but not sure if it had the uce with it or not. welcome to the fourms

Yea they got some on eBay but they don't come with a ECU I'm not Really sure if the 2.7 wiring harness would work of it either if so you could tune the car yourself for the Turbo Which wouldn't be doing anymore than 5 psi . But honestly it'd Probably be easier to Turbo the motor you have now cause you'd still have to add intercooler and new exhaust anyway

I am getting rid of my Honda legend turbo exhaust manifolds (I posted a thread yesterday). This is the part you will need the most. The wing turbo is a piece of crap and I can guarantee you will never find a working one. It is very easy to adapt many different turbos to use the stock manifolds. I used a subaru VF10 turbo on mine when I had it. A garrett t3/t4 would be perfect for the 2.7L. The mechanicals is very easy, just plumbing really. The injectors and engine management is where it gets tricky.
