B&M Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Install (pics)
Hey guys,
I've been meaning to post these...installed a B&M CommandFlo adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my coupe. Very easy install...remove FPR, cut the top off the stock FPR, assemble new cap on top using new spring and o-ring, reinstall, adjust pressure using external screw. The new unit looks cool and works well...I actually lowered my pressure as I was running rich...have gotten a little better response out of it. Also the car is smoother now when I shift which I can attribute to one of the following: 1) I'm suddenly better at shifting. 2) my clutch is slipping. 3) the mixture was rich before, causing it to lag. I'm thinking number 3. I'm currently running about 34psi when the vacuum hose is disconnected, but may up it once I upgrade a few items. So in summary...I recommend it, but make sure you have the fuel pressure gauge or else you're shooting in the dark. later, FPR mounted for the cut...used a dremel tool. ![]() cap and stock spring removed ![]() new regulator assembled ![]() installed ![]() ![]()

You can see the parts included in the kit and general info here http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...subcat=&pid=71 They make them for hondas and acuras...must have the NR-1 stamped in the side of the FPR...all of ours do...so it fits.
