Once you pull out the coin tray in front of the shifter, you'll find 2 screws. Then you'll need to pull the surrounding of the shifter out. Once you pull that out of the way, there should be 2 more screws in there. In the center console, there are 2 screws you'll need to remove. On both side of the center console, you'll need to remove about 4 screws on both side. On the climate control panel, look up and you'll see 2 screws that'll need to come off. There should be a bracket that holds the surrounding and center console in place. remove the 2 screws. From there, you should be able to slide the surrounding and center console back. Then remove the surrounding. Now there are 4 screws that is holding the stereo in place. Once you take those off, you should be able to take the HU out.
I k ow what you're thinking, ya there are a lot of screws, unlike newer cars that just snap in place.
