G1 manual transmisson weight and shipping question
Does anybody know the weight of the G1 manual tranny? I need to possibly ship mine but don't have a scale to weigh it.
Also, what is the best way to ship something like this? Thanks |

Nah, no scale. Yeah I was thinking somewhere around 60-70 lbs. Ever shipped something like this or have a recommendation on who to use?

Don't you need a crate to have something shipped like that?
That's what I usually see when ever my cousin orders new tranny for costumers.

I would imagine the easiest for you would be UPS. There little stores are usually all over the place, but you will have to box it securely. Also drain all the fluid. That could be a hazard and they won't let you ship.

Cool, thanks. I'll try them. The fluid is drained but I do probably need to clean it up a bit.
