LOL Ken see if you can get the hubs out of both cars....I tried at the junkyard but it didnt work out as easliy as I thought it would with primitive tools....and my yard wont allow me to take in a hydraulic bottle jack

Next try is going to be to just get a scissor jack from one of the junked cars and take it from there

BTW....another issue...our stock 15" wheels wont clear the caliper now

Keep it up man. This trick doesn't affect me at all but I'm still interested in seeing how all this comes out!

Well, I guess it's time to upgrade . If the 5-lug conversion work, that means you can use the G2 rims or better yet, the RL rims lol.

Shit, I don't ever intend on going larger than 15s on this car.

you know what works to clear your head out. bring a big floor jack handle as a "BREAKer" bar

I remember you saying that you had to put the passenger caliper on the driver side and vise versa for the driver caliper on the passenger side. Maybe that's why the 15's didn't fit.

^ No I dont think thats it....the calipers are the same basic shape...its just that the G2s is significantly larger in its dimensions....which leads me to believe that:

(a) the knuckle that the caliper bracket mounts to is screwing this whole process up...

(b) the 15"s from the G1 have a smaller inside diameter than the G2 15"s (which would make logical sense considering that they did receive larger hardware down there)

(c) all of the above and some other things as of yet unaccounted for...
