headlight removal
Can anyone tell me how I would go about removing the left headlight assembly on a 1988 legend coupe? I need to replace the whole assembly because a rock hit it and now it's broken. Please help me.
Thanks |

All the headlight assemblies are missing at the wrecking yards and yet many of the bumpers are still attached. So I think you need a repair manual.

headlight
I had to change one of mine, and yes you have to take the bumper off,on the one side anyways, if I remember correctly you need to start at the wheel wells than to the center of the bumper, you should be able to pry the bumper to get to the screws in the front, its really not that hard, i think there is 3 screws behinde the grill, so I think you take it off also, can't remember it was a year ago. USE THE FORCE.

So has anyone been able to do this without removing the bumper?
It looks like there are three small screws mounted on a spring-like assembly to allow height adjustment of the headlights. Also the adjustment screw on top in the white bracket, I assume that has to come completely out? |
