Some people like to punish themselves.
There's a lot of foods and things I like to eat that I bet you wouldn't. Force feeding you those items will only (further) traumatize you towards them.

^ I dunno...

Im at 277,xxx and we have numerous members well above my mileage, and my biggest problems so far have been lifter ticking, oil consumption from valve stem seals, (to be expected at such high miles but was easily helped by switching to a HM oil), dead A/C and regular little maintenance stuff...

I think youll find that these old cars could sure take a beating from previous owners but still be able to serve a caring owner for many, many years to come....

Much less finicky and temperamental than the G2s i think....

Yup they do ! There have been a few group buys here for the kit and many members here have the kit. Both my Coupes have the kit. Take a look at pics of the before and after on my '89LS and you'll see. Welcome and best of luck !

EGR code 12 right?

If so, try pulling the number 7 (7.5 amp) fuse from the underhood fuse box for about a minute and then replace it...this should clear your ECU....run the car and see if the light comes back...

If it does, a simple cleaning of the lift sensor might help out...if not...well...we'll just cross that bridge when we come to it

BTW...I noticed that you are in California...

Just a heads up, in CA, unless it was sold as a NON-OP car, it is state law that the SELLER is responsible to Smog the car BEFORE selling it....doesnt matter if the bill of sale says AS IS or says "WONT PASS SMOG" right on it...they are still responsible for it....if your car DOESNT pass even with the CEL turned off, you could techinically go back to the seller to cover expenses until the car passes....state law dude...lotsa sellers dont like hearing that shit and I've been hung up on many times because of it
