I think my battery is takin a crap on me...

Lately my elctrical has been acting funny. While Im driving, every now and again and often frequently, my headlights and guage lights will flicker and my stero will turn off then come back on. Im thinking that my battery is dying on me. Possibly my alternator is going out, or I just listen to my stero without the car running too much. I dunno, what do you guys think?

I'd first check the battery terminals and see if they're corroded, especially negative post... follow it down, mid point connection is right below the battery tray and can only be access by removing the battery, go all the way to the engine block. If these checks out then the alternator might be going bad, get it tested, btw, how old is the battery?

Something similiar happened to me...
I had carbon buildup somewhere--really can't remember.
Maybe in my alternator?
Is that possible?
hahaha

Hmm, I think the same is happening to me.

I jumped it yesterday, and today I went to open the trunk, and it didn't work for some reason. At first, it didn't do ANYTHING when I put the key in, but I got it to show a few lights after trying a little harder. It seems like I leave a light on or something, but I couldn't find anything that was on.

I washed it earlier this morning, too, but that shouldn't have an effect on anything.
