Mine works, well let me put it this way...It tells me if I am low on oils and thats about it
the gas avg. button doesnt work, the service due or reset button doesnt work either

the only thing that works is the clock and the oil low reminder

any one experience this or figure out what the problem was?
got an estimate or how much did it end up costing?
if its big dough, the clock makes me happy enough

Probably just the buttons are broken. Your best bet would probably be to find the whole bin from a junkyard and replace it.
