Instructions for the Iggee seat covers
Hi all. Just purchased a 1989 Acura Legend L and found this great site. The leather on this great car needs some work and I saw alot of comments on the Iggee seat covers found on Ebay.
They seem really nice and I've seen a few people with posts of the finished work (very nice Polarican90L). I also saw the progression pictures by Oyabun. I was wondering if anyone had an electronic copy of the instructions actually provided by Iggee? I'm not going to pretend to be the handiest person out there, but I'd like to know what I'm up against - especially with the rear seats. Thanks for your help. |

I havn't done the rear seat yet but I'm betting that it's easier than the front is. I'm not saying that the front is HARD, but it ain't duck soup!! For the front seats it's easier to remove the seats. Unplug the wires under the seat and remove from the vehicle. Then you can either place the seat cover over the seat and put the seat back in. Or you can remove the seat back cover and then put the cover on the seat and then put the rear cover back on the seat and put the seat back in!!! If you want to do it like I did. After you remove the seat from the car. Flip the seat upside down and on the seat bottom, by the outer edges of the seat back you will see 2 screws (Phillips). Remove these 2 screws and gently lift up and pull towards the bottom of the seat. (There are 2 clips at the upper part of the seat back that must be released when pulling on the seat back.) Note where these clips go into the seat because after you install the seat cover you will have to make 2 cuts in your NEW seatcovers before you put the seat back on. Then your DONE!!!! put the seat back in and enjoy your NEW IGGEE'S SEAT COVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this makes sense!! Oh yea!! Ask Metro, I know he's done the rear seat!!http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...?id=2098004625
