leaking coolant around radiator drain plug

I changed my coolant yesterday. After bleeding everything, I put it all back together and since then, have noticed that there is a small leak coming from the coolant drain plug area. I pulled off the plastic cover and noticed small amounts of coolant is leak from this clear 6 inch discharge tube attached just below the drain plug housing. Can anyone tell me why/what is this tube for and why the coolant is discharging there?

Before the radiator cap / coolant change, I never had this discharge problem.

Thanks for any help.

is it possible that your system is too full? or maybe a couple of air bubbles that need bleeding?

Prestone antifreeze. Not sure if it is silica free...I'll have to check. If it is not, I'll redrain and refill. Only cost $10 bucks.

By the way, I looked at the leak today and it stopped by itself so whatever it was, it isn't doing it anymore.

regular prestone is supposed to be not good. their long life is silicate free. be careful about dexcool.

me? used prestone in 95, 98, and last year. till i saw honda bulletin saying to use silicate free. my pump is still running.
questioned prestone in email - they say it's ok.

next change - why take the chance? i think zerex is silicate free, double check. honda is recommnded but pricey
