MORE RADIO WOES
hey guys,
I recently installed a new system including a new hu and four speakers into my 1990 legend ls bose, because the previous speakers amps were blown out. The system worked normally for about 2 mos and then mysteriously no sound would come out the speakers but the hu would light up. Sometimes when i hit roughness in the rode or a speed bump the speakers will work for a short moment. I thought i bypass the stock amps right. What could this be? |

It has nothing to do with the old Bose system, since you replaced it all.
I would open it back up and check your connections and the HU fuse on the back. Doesn't your new HU have an "illumination" wire (orange?) that is separate from the power? It sounds like your power or ground wire isn't right.
