Hello.... just purchased a sweet 89 Acura Legend

.. bought from the original owners an old couple that barley broke it in... had only 89,000 miles and soooo clean inside and out... we scored!!!
Just wanted to see if anyone had any problems or anything we need to watch for on this vehicle.... first time owning an Acura and so far so good. This car goes.... I love it!!!

Welcome friend. Well, the only you need to watch is oil or ticking rods. But as long as you service the car regularly, you'll be fine. 89,000 are very hard to find for G1. Oh and before someone comes here and asks,

Cool.. that is great to hear. I added some photos... these were from the seller of the car. Have to take some myself. We just picked it up this week. So far so good...

Welcome to the forum, glad you like the car!

Looks to be in excellent condition. Automatic I'm guessing? Any service records? You may want to look into what timing belt service if any was done.

We scored with this car ... we found it on Craigs list... got it for much less than they could have ... with the extremely low miles and clean inside and out!!! Purchased from the original owners... ederly couple that hardly ever drove it and kept it in the garage...

Love this car.... sweeeeet!!!

I noticed you put in a new power antenna? Mine is not working either... I didnt even realize that it was a power antenna until we noticed the hummm when you turned off the car.

What antenna did you purchase - an after market??? I want to be sure it looks like the original one .... thanks ....

WELCOME!! hope you have a great experience with the forums. btw, awesome looking legend coupe. acura's are good cars, just service reguarly and you wont have many problems. very VERY GOOD LOOKING LEGEND!!

^^^ Just FYI, most Honda/Acura power antennas are interchangeable
