Less then 24 hours ago I bought my first acura. I was driving it home and I almost made it there and the car died. It would not start back up. I had it towed home. I found i'm not gettin any spark from the coil. I am quite sure it is the ignition control module but not 100%. It was a slow die like the car wanted to keep going but something was slightly holding it back until it died all the way. Someone help. And if it is the ignition control module is there anyway to get it off without pulling the distributer off. Greatly appreciated! If it happens to be the ignition control module anyone happen to have a spare for a 2.5 acura legend sedan?

I would start by inspecting the rotor button. They do come off sometimes, that would create a no spark issue.

I have found that I have a weak spark coming out of the coil when I turn the car over and it only sparks one time. The spark isn't strong enough to make it to the spark plugs. I replaced the ignition control module and before i did that it wasn't getting any spark. Now it sparks once and it is weak. Could it be a weak coil and maybe the coil got took out when the ignition control module went out on me.
