Ok i want some of you acura legend owners. i got a 4dr 88. And i am going to be doing some body work after i get it running. I am wanting to do a new hood, new paint, rims, tires, body kit. but the hardest thing is to find is the hood. id like a carbon fiber like the pic below.

Also does anyone have any good color ideas? right now i was thinking a metallic black. But my best friend said i should do a gold with flakes. But im tryin to think of what color to do? I want it to be a head turning car

Well, getting a carbon fiber hood for our car is difficult to find, unless you know a place where they make them.

i figured so. i just want to make mine unique and beautifull looking. This is my first major project car that i actually have the time and money to put into it ( that is for me ). Im really excited.

Also would that metallic black with the gold metal flakes look good you think? with like a maroon base and a candy coat. kinda just give it a multi color kinda look. Ideas are helpfull

it is like a tan gold... and yah i know the painting is alot of work. Im just wanting to make it pop if u get what im saying

You watch too much Pimp My Ride Haha, that is an expensive paint if you do it right. Especially when you pick a base like maroon and then go for a metallic black. But if you have the $$ it would look very sweet.

@ Monster757. I already have the black metallic. I can get all my stuff at cost. So cheaper than wholesale. I just need to figure out the base color. I wanna do a basic red / maroon color. And also im painting myself so it wont be to bad. But the flakes are being looked into. But i want it to look like a diffrent shade of color in the right light, like some of the newer cars. And money is not really to big of an issue. lol.

I think the most expensive thing is going to be the rims if i decide to go away from my nice stock acura ones
