Removing auto progress thread

Well just like the title says this is my thread to post pic's ect taken during my auto trans removal.
Thats one kick ass jack eh.

ALWAYS safely support your car before performing any work!

For the bolts that need just a little extra help.

Damn lock nuts took all damn day to get them off

Plenty of room to work under can still go much higher if needed to.

Passenger side with 6 ton jack stand.

Starter removed.

Whats missing here?

Note the nasty ass weld job on the exhaust pipe .

And thats about it for today damn lug nuts.

That's a clean looking coupe. Man, you're living on the wild side with that so high up on those stands aren't you? Or maybe I'm just losing my nerve in my old age.

I guess I haven't been following, but are you replacing your automatic or converting to a 5sp?

Been awhile since I've been in Crestview - have some good memories of the place and hope to spend a couple of days in Niceville over Thanksgiving....

Also, I'm sure you already know but, make sure you adjust the kickdown cable correctly. I got lazy with my swap and after I installed everything I didn't feel like doing the adjustment. Then the trans started acting silly.
